===Cleaning the Milk System===

A rinse of the milk system should be completed any day that the machine is used to make a milk based drink. The dual spout milk dispensing system must be cleaned regularly with Jura Milk System Cleaner in order to maintain proper function. Depending on how the machine is programmed, the machine may not automatically prompt you to complete this cycle.

===Dual Spout Cleaning===

The dual spout assembly must be taken apart for cleaning any day that the machine was used to make milk based drinks to maintain machine function and keep the parts sanitary. The disassembly and cleaning instructions for this spout can be found on pp.41-44 of the machine manual.

===Changing Water Filter===

This machine uses a [https://www.wholelattelove.com/jura-clearyl-blue-water-filter-new Clearyl Blue] water filter which should be changed every 60 liters of water, or every three months; whichever comes first. Instructions for activating and installing this filter can be found on pp.44-46 of the machine manual. Use of this filter means that you do not have to descale the machine.
